//Zim and GIR// is a ghost by [[dev:Levidre]], based on [[https://zim.fandom.com/wiki/Invader_ZIM_Wiki|Invader Zim]]. The two characters are initially in disguise, and their real forms must be unlocked by interacting with them. The user can choose whether to treat them kindly or cruelly, which may impact some interactions.

When booted, the ghost will ask if it is alright to install the Irken font, and will use a [[info:SAORI]] to do it if given the affirmative. If the Irken font is installed, the ghost will have some dialogues available that are in a cipher and must be translated by the user.

===== Events =====

==== Blowing their cover ====
When Zim and Gir first appear, they will be in disguise. In order to get them out of disguise, the user must unlock it through an event. The event can happen when the ghost boots, if certain criteria are met.

In order for the event to be available, the user must have completed certain other events first.

In a random conversation, Zim will suddenly tell the user that he needs to go back to his base because it's in danger. The user must let him go back. If the user misses the dialogue, or chooses not to let him go back right away, they can let him leave from his "Do Something" menu.

When Zim leaves, the ghost will not close. Instead, GIR will be left alone. The user can talk to GIR, and ask him questions in his menu. Asking any of the questions in his menu will fulfill the first criteria for blowing Zim's cover. This must be done quickly, as Zim will return when the next idle dialogue is said.

Once that event has been completed, the user must also increase their friendship with the pair. This can be done through certain actions, and giving them items. Their friendship is also boosted by letting Zim leave in the above event.

Finally, there is a time requirement. This differs depending on the day.

On Monday–Friday, the event can activate from 6PM–4AM((18:00–04:00)).

On Saturday and Sunday, the event can activate from 2PM–8PM((14:00–20:00)).

If all of the above criteria are met when the ghost is booted, the event will occur.

=== Ally or enemy ===
If the ghost has been booted on at least 5 different days, and has run for at least 50 hours, Zim may ask the user a question. What the question is depends on how many times the user has punched him.

If the user has punched Zim 2 times or less, he will ask the user if they would like to be his ally.

If the user has punched him more than 2 times, he will ask if they consider him an enemy.

Regardless of which option is presented, the user will also have a chance to deny it, which will make Zim neutral towards them.

If the user has told Zim that they are his ally or his enemy, he will have some additional dialogue from then on relating to it. If the user is his ally, they will also gain a new menu interaction, where they can suggest evil plans for either of the characters to execute.

This choice cannot be changed later.

===== Balloon =====
Zim and Gir come bundled with the [[balloon:Irken Balloon]], a balloon themed around Invader Zim.

There is also an optional balloon, [[balloon:Irken Balloon Simplified]], which is a simpler balloon with the same theme. It uses a more plain font, to aid in readability.
