Event Planning

For a list of past events, please see the Event List.

The following list is events that are planned to happen. No events listed here are guaranteed to happen, nor is the information here guaranteed to be accurate. This list exists primarily so that event hosts can plan around other events.

This page is for events that are being seriously planned, not merely event ideas. All events listed here must have an estimated time of when they will occur. It can be a vague time, like “sometime in March”.

If you are planning to host an event, you are free to list it here.

If you want to list an event being planned by someone else, please either have a link to an official announcement about when the event will be hosted, or obtain permission from that person to list it.

Any event that is known to occur regularly at a specific time of year may also be listed here. It must have at least a few years of occuring at a specific date to show that it happens regularly.

Events that have passed and are not known to occur regularly should be removed from the listing.

• Hosted by the Ukagaka Dream Team.
• Create something other than a ghost. Balloons, plugins, guides, etc.!
• Likely to take place early in the year before Ghost Masquerade. Occurs annually.

• Hosted by あーるでぃー (earlduant).
• Submit a ghost under a pseudonym. Users will guess who made what, and authors can try things that they wouldn't normally try.
• Submissions are known to close at the beginning of May, with the event being announced more than a month in advance. The guessing period typically lasts for multiple weeks of May.

• Hosted by the Ukagaka Dream Team.
• Create a brand new ghost in a week!
• Planned to take place in late May or early June. Occurs annually, though the date has been shifting forward to better accomodate folks participating in Ghost Masquerade.

• Hosted by Zichqec.
• Write new dialogues for your ghost, aided by 100 writing prompts!
• Takes place annually in August, and runs for the whole month. May combine well with other events.

• Hosted by Zichqec.
• Create a new shell for Hydrate in just 24 hours!
• Takes place annually on August 20th.

• Hosted by Zdzisiu.
• Create a ghost in a week based on someone else's free idea!
• Planned to take place in September 2025. Occurs annually.

• Not a hosted event, just something that happens.
• Needle may get an update and new shells may be released.
• Occurs annually on November 11th.
