Azura
Azura is a ghost by Levidre. She was released in beta on June 4th, 2019 for her first birthday after having been developed for one year. She hasn't left her beta status since her main feature is in constant development. She is available in English.
Azura is based on Undertale and is a single character ghost. She is written in YAYA.
Features
- Music Player - Inspired by FLELE's one, it's using the same two SAORI. Different play modes are available such as playing the whole playlist, playing the songs of the playlist randomly, only one song and the same song in a loop. Playlists can be saved and load at any time and a control window can be used.
- AI - The option “You want to say her something” opens an input box in which it's possible to directly say something to Azura. She is going to respond accordingly.
- Todo Lists - There are three of them : a monthly one, a weekly one and a list for whenever. For the monthly and the weekly ones, Azura is reminding the tasks to be done and the ones that are late.
- Backup - It is possible to indicate to Azura a folder to backup somewhere else. It is highly advised to indicate to Azura particular drives or directories where to search such already existing folders for her not to scan whole drives, what would make her freeze for a few minutes.
- Relationship system - She can be pet or punched, she doesn't like being treated badly.
- Standard ghost functions - Meaning emptying the recycle bin, opening the calendar, setting the wallpaper and checking the emails.
Quick User's Guide
Azura is using the Undertale balloon made by Zarla, it is advised to install this balloon before installing her.
Double clicking her is gonna open her menu. Hitting t would make her talk and r repeat her last talk. By default, d is gonna open her music player dashboard, p play or pause the song, n go to the next one, p go to the previous one, s to stop the song and c to clear the playlist.
She is having a special menu for her music player for when the user is using voice recognition. Simplified, it's making the control of the music player by voice easier and more accessible.
Her config menu can be used to change all settings, it is divided in three sub-menus. The first one is about the user information, the second is for Azura's settings and the third one for everything that doesn't fell into the two previous categories such as the music player settings.
Shells
Azura's shells are divided in three parts : the usual outfit, her pajama and a Halloween disguise. She handles everything internally, what means the user can't change the current shell by using the right click menu but has to go in her Config menu.
- Old Shell - It's the first shell Azura got. It's not very fancy and isn't really supported anymore. It's kept as legacy and because some people could possibly like its pixel art. All three outfits are contained in one shell.
- New Shell - It's a revamp of the old shell, making it better. It's the current supported one and has a few more things in plus the old one doesn't, as a pumpkin. In the contrary of the old shell, all three outfits are separated in three different shells. Azura is switching automatically between them when needed.
Creating a new shell for Azura would require some code in plus, since she handles everything internally. A totally new shell would need to recreate the three outfits. However, a new outfit could just replace one or the three existing ones.
